Samantha Davey

Sam has worked in legal practice for more than a decade and today combines senior client work with responsibility for the management and operation of the firm. That combination shapes the way she approaches legal work. She looks beyond what the law says to understand what the client is ultimately trying to achieve, what the practical consequences of a decision will be and how the different pieces fit together.

Her practice management role also means she is closely involved in the systems, technology and client experience behind SD&S - with a strong focus on making legal services efficient, responsive and easier for clients to navigate.

Sam is a Senior Registered Legal Executive and holds the New Zealand Diploma in Legal Executive Studies. She is currently completing her Bachelor of Laws through the University of Waikato, continuing to build on more than a decade of practical legal experience.
